Darby Private Equity, the private equity arm of Franklin Templeton Investments, has completed a mezzanine investment in Poland-based insurance company Unilink. Darby invested through Darby Converging Europe Fund III. The new funds will strengthen Unilink’s balance sheet and provide capital for acquisitions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
