Emerging markets-focused asset manager The Rohatyn Group (TRG) has acquired pet supplies retailers Pet Product and MIMAJA. Romania-based Pet Product operates 82 stores under the Animax brand, and Slovenia-based MIMAJA operates 16 stores under the Mr. Pet brand. The companies will form part of TRG’s pet care platform in the region, which also includes Croatia-based Pet Centar. Financial details of the transactions were not disclosed.
