Latin America-focused early-stage venture capital firm monashees has reached a final close for its eighth fund with US$150 million in capital commitments. Investors in monashees VIII include Brandywine Trust Group, S-Cubed Capital, Temasek Holdings, CreditEase, IDG , Instagram co-founder Mike Krieger, Horsley Bridge Partners and the University of Minnesota, as well as 15 high-net worth Brazilian families and groups. The fund will invest in early-stage businesses in the transportation and logistics, financial services and health care sectors.
