m.Paani Solutions, an India-based provider of retail digitization services, has received USD5.5 million in a Series A funding round led by AC Ventures, HenkelX Ventures, Candy Ventures, and angel investors Kevin Aluwi and Suvir Varma. Existing investors Chiratae Ventures and Blume Ventures also participated. m.Paani was founded in 2014 and provides a suite of products and services enabling local retailers to establish an online presence. The company intends to use the new funding to further develop core products and expand its team.
