Chinese private equity firm CITIC Private Equity has purchased Hoau, the Chinese subsidiary of Dutch road services company TNT Express. Hoau operates a domestic road distribution network with about 1,500 depots, covering more than 600 cities throughout China. Financial details of the transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, were not disclosed.
