GetNinjas, a Brazilian web platform for hiring local services, has received BRL6 million (approximately US$3 million) from a group of investors including private equity and venture capital firms Otto Capital, Monashees Capital and Kaszek Ventures. The company intends to use the investment to expand its development team, grow its user base and launch new marketing campaigns. Monashees Capital and Kaszek Ventures previously invested in the company in 2011.
