East Africa-focused private equity firm Catalyst Principal Partners has acquired a 50 percent stake in Yes Brands Food and Beverage, an Ethiopian bottled mineral water manufacturer. The investment is intended to accelerate the growth of the business through enhanced operational capacity, deeper distribution and product innovation. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
