The Climate Crisis: What GPs Need to Know and Do About Physical and Transition Risks and New Areas for Investment

GPCA hosted a training session and cocktail reception on 2 November 2023 from 9 am-6 pm at the Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore.

In collaboration with the Netherlands’ Development Finance Company (FMO), this training:

  • Raised awareness of and promote action towards climate mitigation and adaptation in private capital portfolios,
  • Presented a model to address the physical and transitional risks of climate change,
  • Reviewed the evolution and direction of reporting standards and requirements, specifically related to Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, and
  • Discussed the means to move toward portfolios that are “Net Zero”.
