Brazil-based mobile commerce platform Movile has raised a US$35 million Series D financing round from venture capital firm Innova Capital and global internet services company Naspers. Movile has also secured US$20 million in long-term financing through FINEP, a Brazilian government organization that funds science and technology projects. The company recently expanded into online-to-offline commerce, and this new funding will support investments, acquisitions, partnerships and recruitment.
