Emerging Capital Partners (ECP), an international private equity firm focused on investing across the African continent, has sold its stake in C-Re Holding, a vehicle that owns a 53.6 percent stake in Nigeria-based reinsurance company Continental Reinsurance, to Saham Finances, the insurance arm of Morocco-based conglomerate Saham Group. ECP originally invested in the company in 2007. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
