Cultivating LP Relationships in the Pandemic Era will discuss the criteria LPs are using to evaluate new GP commitments in the current environment. Practitioner faculty will provide practical insight into how GPs can initiate, maintain, and strengthen relationships with LPs in an environment that doesn’t allow for face-to-face meetings, and explain new expectations around operational due diligence, from compliance to background checks.

Mounir “Moose” Guen
Chief Executive Officer, MVision
Mounir (“Moose”) Guen is the Chief Executive Officer of MVision, which he founded in 2001. He is a veteran fundraising specialist, adviser and manager, with 30 years of experience in the industry during which he has worked on over 300 General Partnership funds. He has led MVision to the point where it is now one of the leading private equity capital raising firms in the world.
Pamela Fung
Executive Director, Head of Asia Pacific, Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners
Pamela is a portfolio manager for the Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners Private Equity Fund group and has 16 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Pamela was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company’s corporate finance practice in Hong Kong, responsible for investment opportunity identification, deal advisory, merger management and strategy development. Previously, she was a management consultant with Monitor Group, specializing in marketing strategy for clients across Asia, and a member of the corporate finance team with Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong. Pamela has a Law degree (first class honors) from the University of Hong Kong and an M.B.A. with honors in finance and management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Benjamin Murray
Chief Operating Officer, Cypress Creek Partners
Benjamin Murray is the Chief Operating Officer at Cypress Creek Partners, a private markets-focused asset manager in Austin, TX, where he also leads operational due diligence. Previously, Mr. Murray was Director/Head of Operational Due Diligence with the University of Texas/Texas A&M Investment Management Company (UTIMCO). Prior to joining UTIMCO, Mr. Murray was an Operational Due Diligence Analyst at William Blair in Chicago. He has also held various investment operations roles at PEAK6 Investments, Aurora Investment Management LLC, and Man Investments (USA), LLC. Mr. Murray is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Austin. He holds a B.A. in Communication and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri.
