BlackRock Private Equity Partners has partially exited its stake in South Korea-based e-commerce platform Coupang via the company’s ~USD4.55b IPO on the Nasdaq. Volpe Capital has reached a USD80m first close with commitments from SoftBank, BTG Pactual and Banco Inter affiliates. The VC fund, which specializes in high-growth technology investments in Latin America, has a USD150m target.
