The European Investment Bank (EIB) has committed EUR15m (approximately USD18m) to ARCH Cold Chain Solutions East African Fund. The vehicle, which has an initial target of USD100m and is managed by ARCH Emerging Market Partners, will invest in greenfield assets critical to the operation of temperature-controlled supply chains with equity or quasi-equity financing.
