BlackRock Acquires Aguascalientes Solar Project from Canadian Solar

Global asset manager BlackRock has acquired the Aguasalientes solar project, a 68-megawatt facility in Mexico, from Canada-based solar panel manufacturer and project developer Canadian Solar. Electricity generated by the plant will be sold under two separate power purchase agreements with Mexico’s state-owned utility.
