African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), through its AIIF4 and IDEAS funds, agreed to invest up to USD150m to establish cold chain logistics platform Commercial Cold Holdings (CCH) with partners Bauta Logistics and Mokobela Shakati; AIIM will hold a 59.2% stake in CCH. To seed the platform, AIIM and its partners agreed to acquire CCS Logistics, an operator of temperature-controlled facilities in South Africa and Namibia, for ZAR760m (~USD42m) from South Africa-listed Oceana Group at a ZAR895m (~USD50m) enterprise value. Read more
