Byju’s, an India-based edtech backed by General Atlantic, Tiger Global Management, Tencent, and Bond Capital, has acquired India-based code training platform WhiteHat Jr for USD300m, facilitating an exit for WhiteHat-backers Nexus Venture Partners, Omidyar Network, and Owl Ventures. Reportedly, Nexus VP, Omidyar, and Owl Ventures received USD68m, USD45m, and USD30m, respectively, after first investing in the company in 2019. Read more
