China-focused private equity fund manager Centurium Capital has reached a final close for its first USD-denominated fund with USD2 billion in capital commitments. Investors in the fund include Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Washington State Investment Board, China Investment Corporation, GIC, and Temasek Holdings, as well as other pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, funds of funds, and financial institutions. The fund reportedly launched in March 2018 and reached a first close with USD925 million in capital commitments in June 2018.
