Brazil-focused private equity firm FIR Capital Partners has invested in Clube de Autores, an online book printing service based in Brazil that targets independent authors. Clube de Autores’ software connects authors with printing companies, and the company plans to also market its software for online sales and management of orders and printing to traditional publishers. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
