Africa-focused investment management firm Convergence Partners and Stockdale Street—a firm representing the Oppenheimer family’s South African private equity portfolio—have acquired 100 percent of South Africa-based software-as-a-service platform e4. Convergence Partners structured its contribution through its Communications Infrastructure Fund. With support from the new investors, e4 plans to accelerate its growth through new product and services development and further expand geographically. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
