CVC Capital has acquired a 29.16% stake in India-based cancer care center operator HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) for INR6.5b (approximately USD86.5m). In a bid to obtain majority control, CVC has also made an open offer to acquire up to 26% of the company held by public shareholders for INR130 per share. Current shareholders include HCG founder and CEO B.S. Ajai Kumar, Temasek Holdings, International Finance Corporation, and Indgrowth Capital. Read more
