Indonesia-listed satellite television company MNC Vision Network has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Indonesia-listed fixed broadband and cable television provider Link Net from its parent company First Media and private capital fund manager CVC Capital Partners. CVC first acquired a stake in Link Net through the purchase of bonds and shares issued by First Media in 2011. The firm later pared its stake in Link Net through a follow-on offering after the company’s listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014. Financial details of the latest transaction were not disclosed.
