Funds advised by private equity and investment advisory firm CVC Capital Partners have acquired a controlling stake in Da Niang Dumpling Holdings, a Chinese cuisine quick-service restaurant operator based in China, from the founder, Wu Guoqiang, who will remain as a shareholder. Da Niang operates a network of over 440 stores in 19 provinces across China and employs about 7,000 employees. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
