Southeast Asia-focused venture capital firm East Ventures has reached a final close for its sixth fund with USD75 million in capital commitments. Investors in the fund include high-net worth individuals Xing Wang, Eduardo Saverin, and Kaling Lim; family offices such as Sinarmas Group, Triputra Group, and Emtek Group; fund of funds Adams Street Partners; Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings; Temasek-owned investment firm Pavilion Capital; and existing investors in East Ventures’ previous funds. The fund will pursue seed and Series A investment opportunities in Southeast Asia-based startups across a range of sectors, with a focus on Indonesia-based companies.
