China internet-focused growth equity fund manager Genesis Capital has reached a final close for its second USD-denominated fund with USD850 million in capital commitments. Investors in the fund include development finance institution IFC, China-based investment holding company G-Resources Group, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, foundations, and other institutional investors. The fund will make growth investments in consumer services, enterprise management, and business-to-business (B2B) technology companies in China.
