China-focused investment firm IDG Capital Partners has reached a final close for IDG Capital Fund III with US$1 billion in capital commitments. The fund, which was raised in partnership with United States-based venture capital investor Breyer Capital, will focus on investing in technology, media and telecommunications, health care, energy and consumer products in China, as well as in global companies looking to enter the Chinese market.
