India-based rural fintech Jai Kisan raised USD50m in debt and equity in a first close of its ongoing Series B from GMO Venture Partners, Yara Growth Ventures and DG Daiwa Ventures, and existing investors Blume Ventures, Arkam Ventures, Mirae Asset, Snow Leopard Ventures and others. The debt funding was provided by Northern Arc, Alteria and MAS Financial. In 2021, Jai Kisan raised a USD30m Series A led by Mirae Asset with participation from Syngenta Group Ventures and follow-on from Blume Ventures and others. Read more here and here
