Financial services-focused buyout firm J.C. Flowers & Co. has acquired the Romanian subsidiary of Greece-based Piraeus Bank. J.C. Flowers plans to help Piraeus Bank Romania, which offers retail, small business and corporate banking services, continue to grow domestically. Financial details of the transaction, which has received the necessary approvals from the National Bank of Romania, were not disclosed.
