Energy focused private equity fund manager Kerogen Capital has reached a final close for its Kerogen Energy Fund II. The fund, together with its parallel funds and related co-investment funds, closed with capital commitments of US$830 million. Investors in the fund include endowments, foundations, pension funds, insurance companies, funds of funds, international corporations and family offices. The fund will make growth capital investments in the international energy segment outside of North America, primarily focusing on upstream oil and gas companies.
