Global investment firm KKR has completed a social enterprise technical assistance project with Philippines-based vaccine company Glovax Biotech. KKR completed the project in collaboration with Singapore-based social enterprise organization Impact Investment Exchange Asia and its sister organization Impact Investment Shujog. Glovax Biotech imports, distributes and retails vaccines to low-to-middle-income Filipinos. Following the technical assistance project, Glovax obtained a US$1 million credit line from Philippines-based lender BDO Universal Bank.
