Kotak Investment Advisors, the alternative investment arm of Kotak Mahindra Bank, has invested USD925,000 in a bridge round for Supercraft3D, a Singapore-based additive manufacturer of medical implants and supplies using 3D printing technology. The company will use the new funds for hiring and marketing, as well as to build an artificial intelligence-powered platform to assist in the design of surgical guides and implant products. The company previously raised a USD1 million seed funding round from Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal and other angel investors.
