Frontier markets investment firm Leopard Capital has invested in dloHaiti, a water kiosk venture operating in Haiti. dloHaiti seeks to sell five-gallon containers of water, which have been purified and filtered using solar power, to underserved communities. Leopard’s investment is intended to help finance dloHaiti’s business and product development, infrastructure deployment and domestic market expansion. Financial details of the transaction, which was structured through the Leopard Haiti Fund, were not disclosed.
