China-based online health care services provider Miaoshou Doctor has completed a funding round led by China-focused private equity firm Starquest Capital, reportedly valuing the company at CNY7 billion (approximately USD1 billion). Previous backers of the company include Tencent Holdings, Sequoia Capital, Qiming Venture Partners, and Kunling Capital. Founded in 2015, the company provides digital medical consultation services as well as an online and offline pharmaceutical marketplace. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
