MSPEA and CNDI Lead USD3.7 Billion Investment in Tenglong

China-based data center operator Tenglong Group has secured RMB26 billion (approximately USD3.7 billion) in an investment round led by Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia (MSPEA) and Chinese state-owned conglomerate China Nanshan Development Group. Additional investors include China-focused private equity investor Kaiyuan Capital, China-listed financier Haitong Unitrust International Leasing, and Huaneng Capital and Invesco’s joint venture Huaneng Invesco WLR Investment Consulting. Tenglong constructs and operates cloud-computing centers for internet and financial services companies, as well as government departments. The investment will support the company’s expansion efforts.
