Mubadala Investment Company, ADIA, and Silver Lake have invested a combined USD2.5b in India-based telecommunications and technology company Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries, joining existing investors Facebook, KKR, General Atlantic, and Vista Equity Partners. Mubadala Investment Company has invested USD1.2b for a 1.85% stake; ADIA has invested USD752m for a 1.16% stake; and Silver Lake made a USD602m follow-on investment, bringing its stake in Jio to 2.08%.
