Northern Arc Investments has reached a USD23m first close for its Northern Arc India Impact Fund, targeting USD100m. Investors include Partners Group-backed PG Impact Investments, Anthos Fund and Asset Management, and Calvert Impact Capital. The fund will invest in a number of debt instruments and targets average deal sizes ranging from USD3-5m across microfinance, small business finance, vehicle finance, and agri-business finance.
