Omnivore Raises USD97 Million for Second Venture Fund

India-focused venture capital fund manager Omnivore has reached a final close for Omnivore Partners India Fund 2 with USD97 million in capital commitments. Investors in the fund include BASF Venture Capital, KfW, DGGF, CDC, SIDBI, AXA Investment Managers, FMO, SIFEM, BIO, the Rockefeller Foundation, Ceniarth, Mistletoe, Sonanz, RBL Bank, and the Sorenson Impact Foundation, as well as various family offices. The fund will make seed and Series A investments in India-based startups developing technologies for the food and agriculture sectors.
