Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund has agreed to invest USD1.5b in India-based telecommunications and technology company Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries, for a 2.32% stake, joining existing investors Facebook, KKR, General Atlantic, Vista Equity Partners, Mubadala Investment Company, ADIA, L Catterton, and TPG.
