China- and U.S.-focused venture capital fund manager Qiming Venture Partners has closed three new funds with US$1.4 billion in total capital commitments. The funds include Qiming Venture USD Fund VI with US$935 million, Qiming Venture RMB Fund V with CNY2.1 billion (approximately US$335 million) and Qiming U.S. Healthcare Fund I with US$120 million in commitments. The former two funds will focus on investments in Chinese consumer internet, health care, information technology and clean technology companies. Investors in the renminbi-denominated fund include Oriza Fund of Funds, CDB Capital Fund of Funds, CICC, Xiamen C&D Corporation, Suzhou Fund, LUPU Investment and Hang Tang Wealth.
