Samena Capital Invests US$19 Million in SM Asset Holdings (Asia)

Samena Capital, a principal investment group focused on the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and North Africa, has completed its first deal in Myanmar by investing US$19 million in tourism platform SM Asset Holdings through Samena Special Situations Fund III. The company plans to use the new capital to acquire and develop two tourism assets in Myanmar, comprising the exclusive development right of a private island in the Mergui Archipelago and a city hotel in Moulmein.
