Asia-focused private equity fund manager Softbank Ventures Asia has held a first close for its Growth Acceleration Fund with KRW317 billion (approximately USD269 million) in commitments. Investors in the fund include SoftBank Group, Korea’s National Pension Service, and other institutional investors. The fund will invest in early-stage opportunities globally, with a primary focus on Asia.
