MENA-focused investment firms Swicorp and Wamda Capital have led an investment round for Mumzworld, an e-commerce company catering to mothers, babies and children in the Middle East and North Africa. Other investors in the round include health care and personal products company Tamer Group, as well as existing regional investors Precinct Capital, WSB Holding, Riverbank Technologies and Saned. Mumzworld plans to use the new capital to expand operations across growth markets such as Saudi Arabia and North Africa. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
