Topica Edtech Group, a Vietnam-based online education company, has raised US$50 million in a Series D round led by Southeast Asia-focused private equity firm Northstar Group. Topica provides a suite of online educational products, including live tutoring courses led by native English speakers from the United States, Australia and other countries. The company plans to use the funds to develop new products and upgrade its artificial intelligence capabilities.
