Global investment firm KKR, China-based search engine operator Baidu and investment management firm Coatue Management have invested US$170 million in Uxin, a China-based online used car auction company. KKR’s investment was structured through its China Growth Fund. Uxin will use the new funding to expand its business-to-consumer platform Uxin Used Car, which will connect auto retailers with used car buyers in China.
