Vertex Venture Holdings, a US- and Asia-focused venture capital fund manager owned by Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings, has reached a final close for its fourth USD-denominated China-focused fund. The firm has reportedly secured a total of CNY4 billion (approximately USD565 million) for the USD-denominated fund, as well as a parallel RMB fund that is yet to reach a final close. The new USD fund will invest in early- and growth-stage technology and consumer startups, with a focus on semiconductor, artificial intelligence, enterprise services, health care, and online education companies.
