Frontier markets-focused private equity fund manager XSML has invested in Democratic Republic of Congo-based Ets Lejack, which operates three business lines—printing shops, production of toilet paper and production of candles. Lejack will use the investment to expand its toilet paper production. Financial details of the transaction, which was structured through XSML’s Central Africa SME Fund, were not disclosed.
