Private equity firm Yunfeng Capital has reached a final close on its second fund, Yunfeng Fund II, with around US$1.1 billion in capital commitments. Investors in the fund included sovereign wealth funds and other global institutional investors. The fund will focus on China-based companies in the technology, media and telecommunications, consumer products and healthcare sectors. Separately, Yunfeng Capital has led a Series C financing round in China-based delivery services provider Quanfeng Express. The capital will be used to expand the company’s logistics networks and improve customer service. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
