India-based online lingerie retailer Zivame has received US$6 million in a Series B funding round led by Unilazer Ventures, an investment group promoted by UTV founder and entrepreneur Ronnie Screwvala. Existing investors, venture capital firms IDG Ventures and Kalaari Capital, which had invested US$3 million in Zivame earlier this year, also participated in the round. The company intends to use the capital injection to build new product categories and scale outreach to women across the country.
