When Women Lead: Entrepreneurial Case Studies from Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia highlights partnerships between private capital and women-led businesses in Southeast Asia, exploring their strengths, innovations and successes.

Case studies include:

Navegar’s investment in MDI Novare, a Philippines-based IT company specializing in custom application development, infrastructure, data analytics and IT security solutions for businesses and the public sector.

Monk’s Hill Ventures and Vietnam Investments Group’s investment in ELSA Speak, a Vietnam-based mobile application that utilizes machine learning, artificial intelligence and advanced speech recognition technology to enhance English communication skills.

AC Ventures’ investment in Astro Technologies, an Indonesia-based online platform offering on-demand delivery services for groceries, including ready-to-eat meals, fresh produce, snacks, household items, personal care products and medicines.

Together, GPCA and IW are committed to driving meaningful change by promoting GLI as a strategy to enhance both gender equality and economic outcomes. Through research, peer-to-peer learning, executive workshops and expanded net-working opportunities, the partnership seeks to increase the adoption of GLI among both mainstream and impact investors.
