When Women Lead: Entrepreneurial Case Studies from Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia highlights partnerships between private capital and women-led businesses in Southeast Asia, exploring their strengths, innovations and successes.
Case studies include:
► Navegar’s investment in MDI Novare, a Philippines-based IT company specializing in custom application development, infrastructure, data analytics and IT security solutions for businesses and the public sector.
► Monk’s Hill Ventures and Vietnam Investments Group’s investment in ELSA Speak, a Vietnam-based mobile application that utilizes machine learning, artificial intelligence and advanced speech recognition technology to enhance English communication skills.
► AC Ventures’ investment in Astro Technologies, an Indonesia-based online platform offering on-demand delivery services for groceries, including ready-to-eat meals, fresh produce, snacks, household items, personal care products and medicines.
Together, GPCA and IW are committed to driving meaningful change by promoting GLI as a strategy to enhance both gender equality and economic outcomes. Through research, peer-to-peer learning, executive workshops and expanded net-working opportunities, the partnership seeks to increase the adoption of GLI among both mainstream and impact investors.
