Alexei Bonamin

Alexei Bonamin is a lawyer and professor in the Capital Markets, Private Equity & Venture Capital and Investment Fund areas. He is partner of TozziniFreire Advogados and the co-leader of its Corporate, Capital Markets, Banking & Finance, Private Equity & Venture Capital, Financial Innovation, ESG, Sustainable and Impact Investing groups. He holds an LL.M. degree in Banking and Finance from LSE (The London School of Economics and Political Science) and he is a graduate of the Law School of PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo). He holds a CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) by SCCE (Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethic). In addition, Alexei is a Board Member of the board of directors of ABRASCA (Brazilian Association of Publicly Held Companies); the Chair of the Capital Markets Forum of IBA (International Bar Association); the Coordinator of the regulatory and sustainability committees of ABVCAP (Brazilian Association of Venture Capital & Private Equity); the Chair of the IBA Presidential Task Force on Impact Investing; a member of the LAB (Financial Innovation Laboratory) created by CVM, BID and ABDE. With an extensive experience in capital markets, banking & finance, private equity & venture capital, financial innovation, ESG, sustainable and impact investing since 1996, Alexei has been recognized in relevant legal guides, such as Chambers Latin America, Chambers Global, The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer 250, Who´s Who Legal, Expert Guides, IFLR, Leaders League and Análise Advocacia 500.
