Emily Brown

Emily is a funds and investment management partner in White & Case’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and Global Private Equity Industry Group based in London. Emily advises both fund managers and large institutional investors on all aspects of private funds, predominantly focusing on the capital-raising process. On the manager side, she focuses on private equity, real asset and venture capital funds, and advises on the structuring of funds, as well as on executive and employee incentive arrangements, and the wider elements of operating a private funds business. On the investor side, Emily has a depth of experience across asset classes, including on complex anchor arrangements, co-investments, joint ventures and managed accounts, and on the particular issues of sensitivity to large investors. Emily has broad expertise across fund jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Cayman, Delaware and the Channel Islands.
